Are you surprised to know…

that a Boudoir experience is as much an emotional one as it is a physical one? It's a rollercoaster all the way through (in the best way possible)!

Arriving at your session, wearing beautiful outfits and being guided and posed by me is actually the easy part! You're going to feel ALL the feelings as you go through this process which is why I'm presenting you with this guide to help support you through it and let you know exactly what to expect.

To help you prepare as much as possible, I'm also providing you  with assignments to work through at the end of this guide.

A huge lesson from each Boudoir session I've booked for myself, or when I've done self-portraits, has been that I always have initial shock at seeing myself in the photos.

I feel uncomfortable. I pick apart things I've not yet accepted about myself and I zone in on flaws (although, spoiler alert! There is no such thing as 'flaws', there are only natural parts of ourselves that patriarchal beauty standards have deemed to be flaws so they can make money off our insecurities). I've learned to sit with these feelings and now trust that whenever I revisit my images, I'll accept them more each time and grow to love them more. And I'm forever grateful that I have these photos to look back on as my body ages and changes.

I'm sharing this with you because I've worked with so many people now, and there's a high chance you'll go through a similar journey with your own experience. It's completely normal and know that I'm here to support you every step of the way.
